If you are a freelance creative/designer/developer/product manager or you are into UX, service design, brand, product, industrial, spatial or architecture this is a must attend gig as it travels to Wellington and Christchurch before the end of March. It’s also worth attending if you find yourself as a client that works with these types of individuals or companies.

New Zealand wool is regarded as the whitest wool grown anywhere in the world. Its soft, almost cloud like. Well today New Zealand Wool came to the Cloud in Auckland on the waterfront for the Shear Brilliance Exhibition. In September 2010 the Campaign for Wool initiative was launched by the HRH the Prince of Wales with a pretty simple goal: to highlight wool as a fibre that is an eco-friendly, comfortable, fashionable and durable option to cheaper and more disposable alternatives.

Yesterday I attended a workshop run by Rob Adams on Market validation which was about how to go about validating market opportunities for new products and services.

Rob is strategic consultant and venture capitalist based in the US. Thanks to several New Zealand companies including IRL, the NZ Investment Fund and the Ice House, Rob was bought over to deliver a series of workshops up and down the country.
