Review: Hitchhikers Guide to LCA

The Hitchhiker's Guide to LCA by Baumann and Tillman is a great introduction to Life Cycle Assessment. I found the history aspect at the start insightful and interesting. It is always helpful to know where something has come from.

This book is a great introduction to Life Cycle Assessment. I found the history aspect at the start insightful and interesting. It is always helpful to know where something has come from.

I have used this book extensively as an on hand reference when I have not clearly understood something. Not sure I have read cover to cover, but still feel it is a must have in the bookshelf of any aspiring designer.

The exercises also provide an opportunity to get into the detail and better understand how decisions are made within LCA.

Hitchhiker's Guide to LCA

It provides an excellent platform for those wanting to learn more about LCA and perhaps apply it within their work or work with others who are LCA practitioners.
