We are pleased to see that AUT in Auckland and Massey in Wellington have supported LCANZ and the Life Cycle Management Centre by bring Professor Roland Clift to their students.
Don't miss an exciting presentation on the use of life cycle thinking and LCA tools to support design of more sustainable product systems.
Professor Roland Clift, Centre for Environmental Strategy at the University of Surrey, UK, will talk about the use of life cycle thinking and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools to support design of more sustainable product systems. He will focus on a case study of self-chilling drink cans where the application of life cycle thinking has led directly to product innovation, due for market launch in 2011. His research interests since founding the Centre for Environmental Strategy in 1992 have been concerned with system approaches to environmental management and industrial ecology, including Life Cycle Assessment, supply chain management and energy systems.
