Encircle has been announced as a finalist in the Biennial Dupont ANZ Innovation Awards in the medical and healthcare category this is a great achievement for the team from The Merino Company, Locus Research, Ag Research and Medical Research inistitute of New Zealand.
Dupont awards recognise innovation, research and development in both New Zealand and Australia and are the pinnacle of achievement and the centre for the Innovation Week in Australia. Locus Research featured at the awards last in 2004 for the Circadian System.
Programme Director, Blythe Rees-Jones was excited to recieve the news shortly before heading on leave "The recognition is a further confirmation of the great team we have through from design, production, science and to clinical aspects. The potential for further products that merino can deliver in the medical domain is clearly evident"
There is further good news to announce April the 8th for the Encircle programme and the looming Australian product launch means a busy time for all involved.
The good news is a silver lining for The Merino Company's Christchurch staff which have been affected with their offices within the ChCh EQ cordon. We are glad they are safe and hope the re-organisation of their offices and homes moves smoothly.
