Emphasis in this year's Teachers Workshop was put on making this event as fun and inspiring as possible, to encourage as many Young Innovators to get involved. Feedback from those involved in previous years, have helped us sculpt what is looking to be an exciting event; and thanks to the ever-growing community support, competitions, giveaways and 'Inspiration Sessions' are all in the pipeline for the 2015 Awards.
A huge part of successful innovation is not being afraid to experiment and collaborate in order to push ideas. Discussions around prototyping, building and problem solving, resulted in some great ideas to help kids on their creative journeys. Ideas can come in all shapes, sizes and origins, so encouragement to get creative is a must for our future Young Innovators.
Overall, a great start to the 2015 event. We look forward to seeing what our local youngsters can come up with this year, so get those ideas flowing!
