ExportNZ Bay of Plenty presents: Sustainability Means Business

Sustainable business practices are increasingly recognised as not just being good for the environment but also good for business.  Join us to hear from 3 leading speakers and learn about how sustainability can add value to your business.

Jake McLaren, Principal Consultant at PE INTERNATIONAL, will present valuable insights to recent trends in product sustainability, including carbon labelling and the growth of supply chain requirements in export markets. Jake will give some best practice examples drawn from recent projects including Dairy Australia and the New Zealand Merino Company, and how sustainability has added value to these organisations.

Timothy Allan, Managing Director at Locus Research, will share Locus Research's framework for life cycle innovation in research and development and illustrate how this is used in practice.

We are also pleased to introduce Penny Nelson, Executive Officer of the Sustainable Business Council at this event.  Penny will give you an overview of the council, whose mandate is to lead and mainstream business sustainability in NZ.  The Sustainable Business Council, like ExportNZ, is part of the BusinessNZ.
