Coming from a family of innovative individuals, Michael’s passion for understanding the fundamentals naturally manifested itself into a career in engineering and innovation.
Michael has eight years of professional engineering experience in industries that include product, materials handling, forestry and heavy vehicle design.
A majority of Michael’s experience has been rooted in the construction and mechanical industries. His experience in machinery design and having worked on multiple large scale plant projects across Australia and New Zealand has provided him with an array of practical and analytical engineering skills and competencies.
Building on a skill set developed through practical experience, Michael completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering while studying part time after work. He has also previously studied short courses in media art and business, lending well to his current role as a Product Development Engineer at Locus Research.
